Triumphing over his troubled childhood, Pete travels worldwide inspiring adults and children that "There's a Winner Within You." As a young child, Pete was left alone or with his younger sister - forced to find food wherever he could. He never learned about nutrition and exercise due to this transient lifestyle - a result of his mother's serious mental illness.
Pete weighed more than 400 pounds when he landed on The Biggest Loser. Nine month later, he won the $100,000 prize after losing a whopping 185 pounds, and has kept is off for over seven years.
